Our Trip

Believe it or not, I FORGOT to take a photo of our
actual room, which was, well, small, but scrupulously
clean. One room, with small refrigetator, large alcove vanity
and sink area and a shower stall in the room.

Toilet was down the hall typical canalhouse style and we
shared it with one other unit.

Lots of personal touches in the house, like hard candy in
the hall and a rack FULL of umbrellas to use.

Same entry hall looking in.

One REALLY UNglamorous "authentic" touch was the
stairs. I'd always heard canalhouses had steep stairs, but
these were basically like a ladder or a rock climbing wall.

We hauled our 60 pound American Tourister suitcases up
TWO of these flights. Nice!!

We had a wonderful week, so chilled we didn't even bother
to take a lot more photos. I can't recomend this city highly enough.

We met several people for potential apartment trades in future, and
each of the meetings went extremely well.

Then we left for London, to FINALLY check out this
apartment we traded!!
